Early Assessment Service for Young People with Early Psychosis (EASY)

Service target groups

This programme primarily targets ‘early psychotic’ patients aged 15 to 64.

Service description

The Hospital Authority has established seven E.A.S.Y service centres, each has a multi-disciplinary early intervention team consists of doctors and nurses. The E.A.S.Y programme provides early referral and assessment, ongoing treatment services and extensive public education on early psychosis and its symptoms.

The programme operates in an one-stop, open referral way; if anyone suspects others may have developed psychosis, referrals can be made via hotline, internet or direct contact with service centre. Referrals received will be assessed, thus appropriate psycho- or pharmaco- treatment may be provided.

Referral methods

You can refer a family member or a friend through the E.A.S.Y hotline, their website or directly at one of their service centres.
